Home Self Collection Kit

The Home Self Collection test is not court admissible, but will offer peace of mind or can be used as a preliminary test to legal procedures.

If legal results are not necessary, samples can be collected in the privacy of one's own home. Samples can be obtained from the alleged father and child.  The mother is not required, since this test in not valid in a court of law. A collection kit with step by step instructions is sent to your home in order to obtain a buccal sample. The collection method is non-invasive and can be done at any age. The collection involves rolling a cotton-tipped swab/or Collector inside the cheek of the mouth of each testing party. The kit also includes shipping instructions.

If a testing party is not willing to submit a sample, alternative personal items may also be used for an additional fee of $326.00. Please see testing for Unusual Samples or call to discuss the items that can be used for testing and additional time.

DNA test results for swab samples are completed in an average of 3 business days.
