(Non-Legal Self Collection)If legal results are not necessary, samples can be collected in the privacy of one's own home. Samples can be obtained from the alleged father, mother, and child. The level of evidence is greater if the mother does participate, however the mother is not required, since this test in not valid in a court of law. A collection kit with step by step instructions is sent to your home in order to obtain a buccal swab sample. The collection method is non-invasive and can be done at any age. The collection involves rolling a cotton-tipped swab inside the cheek of the mouth. The kit also includes a prepaid return shipping airbill for Federal Express or DHL pick up.
